MS student in Building Science
Emily Lamon is an MS student in Building Science and Technology at UC Berkeley. She received her BS in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include cost-effective energy retrofits for existing commercial buildings and the decarbonization of our built environment.
Prior to joining CBE, she worked as a Project Manager for commercial retrofits of existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. She also worked as a mechanical engineer designing large-scale heating and cooling systems for higher education institutions with an emphasis on integrated design and energy efficiency. She is LEED AP accredited, and she holds a Professional Engineering license in the state of California.
