Lulu is a PhD student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She received a Master’s degree in Control Science and Engineering from the China University of Geosciences. Her professional experience includes computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and artificial intelligence algorithm design.

Lulu’s dissertation topic is exploring indoor air quality and energy consumption modeling and control via a combination of CFD and artificial intelligent algorithms, considering indoor air pollutants concentrations and indoor thermal comfort. Currently, Lulu is working with CBE on the integration of ceiling fans with radiant heating and cooling systems and indoor thermal comfort research.
