Roberto is a PhD student at the DESTeC Department of the Engineering School, University of Pisa. He received a Master’s degree in Architecture and Building Engineering at the University of Pisa in 2018. In 2019, after receiving his Master’s degree, he worked as a Research Officer at the University of Brighton on dynamic energy analysis of buildings. Before starting his PhD in 2020, he collaborated with the DESTeC department of the University of Pisa in different research areas and worked in an engineering design studio on HVAC systems design and renewable energies.
His current study consists of analyzing different radiant systems aimed at improving local thermal comfort conditions. The interest focuses on studying new Personal Comfort Systems capable of improving comfort conditions together with reducing energy waste.
