Yihui Li is a visiting scholar working with Ramon Weber. He is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. His research centers on AI-assisted architectural design, CAD/CAE information automation, and integrated approaches to environmental performance in building design. Trained as an architect, he maintains an active interest in engineering practice and the translation of research into real-world applications.

Yihui’s doctoral work addresses representation challenges in early-stage design, using graph-based structures to couple spatial configuration with environmental performance. By linking geometry, topology, and physics-based simulation, his research aims to support more informed and climate-responsive sustainable design decisions. He has a strong foundation in physics and often frames architectural and environmental problems through physically grounded reasoning.
