Ying Li is a Senior Research Engineer from Sanken Setsubi Kogyo Co. Ltd., a mechanical and electrical engineering company based in Tokyo, Japan. She received her PhD in Engineering from Osaka University in 2018. During her PhD studies, she focused on controlling methods of the indoor environment in the sickroom with Ceiling Induction Diffusers. She was a specially appointed researcher at the same university, working on displacement ventilation via computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
After she joined Sanken, she has worked at a technology center and involved in research on indoor thermal environment and thermal comfort. Her current research interests are radiant cooling/heating systems and zero net energy buildings.
