CBE hosts semi-annual meetings with CBE’s Industry Partners and invited guests. At these events we share research progress, get feedback on new research directions, and continue to build a community that shares our goal of creating knowledge and resources that improve the performance of buildings and the built environment.
Industry Advisory Board Meeting, Spring 2026
We are excited to announce that this year’s meeting aligns with SF Climate Week (April 18-26). As part of the week’s programming, CBE is helping to organize the symposium Circularity in Practice: Case Studies and Strategies for Circular Design and Construction hosted by AIA San Francisco on Earth Day, April 22, featuring keynotes and panels of experts, followed by a networking happy hour. As part of our community partnership with AIA, CBE will help cover a portion of partner ticket fees, offering access at a reduced rate.
CBE’s Industry Advisory Board Meeting events will take place at UC Berkeley on April 23 – 24. Thursday’s Plenary Session will be available in a hybrid format, with both virtual and in-person options. Event Outline: April 22 – 24, 2026
- Wednesday, April 22, 1:00 – 6:30 pm [in-person]: Join us at AIA San Francisco (140 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94104) on Earth Day for a circular design symposium featuring insightful discussions and refreshments. CBE will cover a portion of ticket fees for current partners. Registration and details.
- Thursday, April 23, 8:15 am – 5 pm [hybrid]: Plenary Session at Pauley Ballroom, UC Berkeley Campus. (Maximum 7 participants per partner or team). Followed by a happy hour and dinner banquet.
- Friday, April 24, 8:30 am – 12 pm [in-person]: Executive Session followed by optional lunch (maximum 2 participants per partner or team). Followed by a hosted lunch in downtown Berkeley.
