Now in its fourteenth year, the Livable Buildings Awards recognize projects that demonstrate excellence in architecture, sustainability and occupant satisfaction.
A jury of CBE members has selected Lick-Wilmerding High School the as the 2020 LBA winner. This building, along with all of the finalists, received highly positive feedback from the buildings’ users, as measured by the CBE Occupant Survey and compared to other projects that used the survey in 2019. The historic renovation and expansion of a mid-century school demonstrates the school’s and design team’s commitment to equity, sustainability and resilience.
