MS student in Building Science, Technology and Sustainability
Isabel Burgess is a MS student in Building Science, Technology and Sustainability at UC Berkeley. She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and holds a Bachelor of Arts (2020) in Engineering modified with Studio Art with a minor in Hispanic Studies as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (2021) from Thayer School of Engineering concentrated in Environmental Engineering. Isabel’s research interests include the physical remote workspace and its support of employee and organization needs as well as the broad subject of post-occupancy evaluation.
Before coming to CBE Isabel worked in a project engineer role at Dimeo Construction Company in New Haven, CT. Previously, she worked as an Autodesk Student Expert Intern at the non-profit Build Health International in Beverly, MA, where she researched the effectiveness of upper-air germicidal UV lamps at two hospitals in Haiti.
