Jing Yuan is a PhD student in Building Science Program at UC Berkeley. She received her B.Eng. from Tongji University in 2017, and her M.S. in Environmental Health from the Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health in 2019. Trained primarily as an engineer and environmental health specialist, her professional experience also includes data analysis and data visualization.
Before coming to CBE, Jing worked in the Harvard Healthy Buildings group to evaluate the restorative effect of biophilic environment on human stress by using Virtual Reality and Biosensors. Her doctoral research interests mainly focus on people’s biophilic design and health restoration.
