Now in its eighteenth year, the Livable Buildings Awards recognize projects that demonstrate excellence in architecture, sustainability and occupant satisfaction.
UC Berkeley’s Center for the Built Environment has awarded the 2024 Livable Building Award for Interface Base Camp, an adaptive reuse of a 1950s commercial building to create a global headquarters for the Atlanta, Georgia-based manufacturer. This annual award program recognizes excellence in architecture, sustainability and user satisfaction as measured by CBE’s Occupant Survey. The award jury also extended an Honorable Mention for DPR Construction’s Reston Offices.
